Mechanic

What will you do?

As a maintenance mechanic, you ensure that our robotized machine park keeps running day and night. You will start in day shift for six months to be thoroughly trained. After that, you will join the 5-shift system. You work with rollers, eye rollers, presses, ovens, and spray installations. You prevent downtime by acting quickly when something goes wrong.

• Analyze and resolve malfunctions
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Contribute ideas for improvements and sustainability
• Record activities in the maintenance system
• Collaborate with colleagues and external technicians

What do we offer?

You will earn between €3,600 and €4,500 gross per month, plus a 29% shift allowance. You will receive 27 vacation days and a good pension plan through PME. We offer a comprehensive six-month training program and training opportunities that match your ambitions.

Who are we looking for?

You have experience as a maintenance mechanic and quickly resolve malfunctions. You keep a cool head, work independently, and communicate well with colleagues. You have a strong sense of responsibility and enjoy working in an automated environment.

• MBO level 3 or 4 in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Automation
• Experience with machine maintenance in a production environment
• You can read technical schematics and drawings
• Basic knowledge of measurement and control technology
• You master Dutch well
• You live in the Apeldoorn region

About VDL Weweler

We develop and produce special axles and air suspension systems for trailers, trucks, and buses. Automation is central in our modern factory in Apeldoorn. You will work in a team of 10 mechanics who help and learn from each other.
