As a Sports Equipment Technician at Decathlon, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing sports equipment, ensuring that it is safe and functional for our customers. You will work closely with our sales team to provide expert advice on the products we offer. Your tasks will include: • Maintaining and repairing sports equipment according to manufacturer instructions; • Conducting quality control checks on repaired equipment; • Providing expert advice to customers on the products we offer; • Working closely with our sales team to ensure that customer needs are met; • Participating in training sessions to develop your technical skills and knowledge of new products. What do you need to apply for this job? • A vocational education or higher degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, sports equipment technology); • At least 2 years of experience in the sports industry or a related field; • Strong technical skills and knowledge of sports equipment; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Flexibility and willingness to learn new things.
