Mechanic (Compactor Containers)

What will you do?
As a mechanic for compactor containers, you ensure that our customers' compactor containers continue to function optimally. You will work from our main location in Eindhoven in our container workshop.
Your activities include:
- Performing maintenance and inspections according to NEN3140 guidelines.
- Analyzing and solving faults on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical levels.
- Performing preventive maintenance and overhauls to prevent faults.
- Carrying out major repairs and upgrades in the workshop.
Every job is different. One time you replace a hydraulic cylinder, another time you solve an electrical problem or perform structural repair. You are the expert who ensures that our customers can always rely on their equipment.
Your team and work environment
You work independently, but are part of a small, close-knit team of three mechanics. Additionally, you have a lot of contact with colleagues from the container workshop. Communication lines are short, and you have direct contact with the Manager of the Container Workshop for consultation and support.
What do you need to be successful?
- Knowledge of electrical engineering (NEN3140) or willingness to learn it.
- MBO (vocational secondary education) work and thinking level, in the direction of: automotive technology, mechanical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, in any case something technical.
- Affinity/experience with hydraulic systems and mechanical techniques.
- Basic knowledge of control technology (relays, PLCs).
- A flexible, independent, and solution-oriented work attitude.
