Traffic Management Maintenance Technician

What will you do?

We are looking for a maintenance technician for the traffic management service in the North-Netherlands region with your own home address as the base location! As a maintenance technician at our material service, you are all-round and self-sufficient, or work in a team, to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of the material.

You maintain and repair primarily in our workshop, our enormous fleet of traffic management equipment, and participate in emergency services. Additionally, you enjoy solving technical problems and contribute to your own way to technical developments.

Within the material service of our client, there is a no-nonsense, hard-working, but certainly a pleasant atmosphere. You will come into a team of technicians who want the best results and proudly see the material standing above, on, and next to the road. Our client is located throughout the Netherlands, which means that you will also travel throughout the Netherlands outside of your region. It's a varied role, it's broad in terms of content and activities. You can learn a lot from your colleagues, as you will come into a team full of experience that we would like to pass on to you.

Some tasks are:

• Maintaining and adjusting traffic management equipment;
• Inspecting material according to VCA guidelines;
• Participating in emergency services;
• Performing small tasks on the construction sites.

You will go through an induction period of approximately 2 weeks in Oss, and accommodation and subsistence will be arranged for you.

• Starting salary is from € 15.00 gross per hour for 21 years and older, depending on your experience;
• If you work on weekends, you will receive an extra surcharge of +50% (Saturday) or +100% (Sunday);
• If you work in the evenings, you will receive an extra surcharge of €5.00 gross per hour above your hourly wage;
• Travel expense reimbursement at € 0.23 per km (up to a maximum of 100 km per day);

This is you!

• MBO-level mechanical engineering and/or electrical engineering;
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic installations, and PLC technology;
• Driving license BE, driving license C/CE (or willing to obtain);
• In possession of or willing to obtain a VCA diploma;
• Willingness to occasionally work outside regular working hours (evening/night/weekend);
• A service-oriented organization;
• Kostenbewust, kwaliteits- and customer-oriented;
• Self-sufficient and able to work independently;
• Representative and communicative skills.
