Installer - Fiber Optic Splicer

Place of work: Dziekanowice (Kraków district)

Your responsibilities

• Fiber optic cable splicing
• Configuration of LAN, WLAN, and GSM devices
• Installation of masts, wireless network antennas, and GSM antennas
• Troubleshooting installation issues and providing technical support to company clients
• Reading fiber distribution diagrams
• Diagnosing / troubleshooting problems
• Opening, splicing, closing, and sealing large fiber optic Joint Closures (MUF)
• Unsheathing and laying cables on ODF (Optical Distribution Frame)
• Installation of network devices (Switch, Converter, Router, Server, OLT, UPS)
• Fiber optic measurements (Reflectometer, power meter) – fault localization
• Replacement / repair / splicing of fiber optic cable
• Travels within Poland

Our requirements

• Experience in fiber optic splicing and performing measurements on fiber optic cables
• Experience in fiber optic cable installation
• Ability to operate equipment and tools for fiber optic splicing and measurements
• Availability for travel within Poland
• Category B driving license
• Ability to work with power tools
• Autonomy in problem-solving
• Ability to work under time pressure
