Assembly Technician Aerospace - Space Assembly (all genders)
Challenge the Impossible
About Beyond Gravity
With our headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, Beyond Gravity is redefining the aerospace industry. We are not an ordinary space company, but a unique fusion of agility, speed, and innovation. Our team of over 1700 experts at 13 locations in six countries combines a start-up mentality with decades of industry experience and a track record of 100% successful missions. We strive to push the boundaries of what is technically possible by not only developing essential products for satellites and launch vehicles, but also by contributing to improving life on Earth.
In our production team, you will work with 32 experienced specialists on high-precision components for aerospace applications - including the Payload Fairings, which safely accompany satellites on their way to space. We are currently expanding our portfolio with a new product line - an exciting step that opens up new opportunities for us and gives you the chance to help shape things from the very beginning. You will be part of a team that combines many years of experience with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. What sets us apart: a strong sense of togetherness, deep process understanding, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Together, we lay the foundation for successful space missions - from the first manual step to launch.
Your Mission:
* Independent processing of manufacturing orders in the area of assembly of components
* Execution of functional tests and quality controls according to work instructions
* Documentation of the work steps performed
* Creation and processing of error messages and change requests
* Improvement and optimization of work processes in your own area
* Occasional assembly assignments at external locations (as needed)
Your Story:
* Technical basic training with a successfully completed vocational apprenticeship, e.g., with a specialization in assembly or comparable
* Several years of experience in component assembly
* Independent way of working, high quality awareness, high commitment to performance and teamwork skills
* Flexibility in dealing with changes
* Good SAP knowledge is an advantage
What we offer:
* An international environment with a global mindset and high-tech products that fly into space
* A highly specialized and motivated team with a lot of expertise in a unique industry
* A lived hands-on mentality - suggestions for improvement are welcome
* Flexible and mobile working as well as at least 5 weeks of vacation - with the option to buy additional vacation days
Ready to take off with us?
Our corporate values - passionate, collaborative, and curious - allow us to see every challenge as an opportunity. Dare to achieve the impossible with us and take your career beyond the ordinary. Apply now by 30.06.2026 at the latest! We look forward to hearing from you.
