CARGO LIFTER / LOADER

As CARGO LIFTER / LOADER, you may perform the following activities:

As DISMANTLER – you are responsible for transporting finished material from plants to loading areas, maintaining a safe and organized yard. You also move raw materials between plants, dismantle containers of scrap metal, and provide service to internal customers by performing maneuvers with pallets, containers, etc.

As CARGO LIFTER - you are responsible for loading finished material for export to the customer. The employee works in a team with the LOADER to design the load configuration and place each piece on the trailer safely and optimally.

As LOADER – you have the responsibility of keeping track of loaded pieces and filling out the shipper for each load that will serve as a guide and evidence of shipment. You work at heights (on the loading platform), must wear a harness, and spend most of your time on the platform. You work together with your team member (cargo lifter) to design the load configuration and guide it for correct placement of each piece, in order to design each load safely and optimally.

Various activities may be assigned according to department needs.
