Monitoring Engineer

Job Description – Monitoring & Reporting Engineer We are looking for a Monitoring & Reporting Engineer to oversee the health and performance of bank IT infrastructure and applications across multiple projects. The role involves basic monitoring, real-time analysis, and proactive issue reporting to ensure smooth operations without any financial impact. We are seeking a resource with strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and eagerness to resolve issues promptly. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor IT infrastructure and applications. * Analyze real-time data to identify and address performance issues. * Generate reports and dashboards on system health and performance. * Collaborate with other teams to resolve incidents and ensure smooth operations. * Proactively identify and report potential issues. * Provide support to resolve incidents and address issues. * Participate in on-call rotations. * Document processes and procedures. Required Skills: * Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana). * Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and databases. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: * Experience in the financial industry. * Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). * Experience with automation tools. * Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, AWS).
