About the Role

We are seeking agronomists, biologists, or professionals with similar backgrounds to join our operations team on a temporary basis, providing monitoring services for blueberry production in the Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco region.

Main Tasks:

• Support the implementation and follow-up of experimental field tests according to Beeflow protocols.
• Monitor the progress of flowering and crop development, conducting flower and fruit counts.

• Marc plants, branches, and sampling points in the field, as indicated by technical guidelines.
• Record field data on mobile apps or worksheets, ensuring data quality and backup.
• Collaborate with beekeepers in the management and relocation of beehives.
• Perform fruit quality measurements (size, weight, number of seeds) and participate in experimental harvests.
• Capture images and collect GPS coordinates for georeferencing data.
• Supervise the correct preparation and application of honey and technologies for feeding beehives.
• Comply with safety protocols and EPP use.
• Maintain a logbook of activities performed in the field as technical backup.

Modalidad de contratación:

Around 3/4 months contract, starting in October 2025.

Requirements

• Degree in agronomy, biology, or related fields (not exclusive)
• Full-time availability to take on a seasonal job.
• Valid driver's license
• Possibility of having your own vehicle (desirable)
• Basic knowledge of computer skills
• Resident of Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco (within a 60km radius)
• Previous knowledge of beekeeping is valued
