MOLDING OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job description

Position Summary Lead, plan, and control all medical injection molding operations to ensure achievement of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives while maintaining compliance with medical device regulatory requirements and collective bargaining agreements within a unionized manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Ensure execution of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans. • Manage labor, equipment, materials, and resources to meet operational targets. • Monitor and control all molding operations to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall performance. • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of production data and metrics. • Manage and develop a team of molding operators, supervisors, and other support staff. • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the molding operations department.
