Modelist - Capospalla

Group Florence is an Italian integrated platform, main reference in terms of best practices serving luxury brands, for the development and production of ready-to-wear collections, leather goods, and footwear. For Emmegi, a Division belonging to the Group, we are looking for a Modelist - Capospalla. The person will be responsible for creating and developing models for new collections, working closely with the Product Office, from prototype to finished and industrialized product for production. Main activities: - Create and refine models starting from prototyping and up to finishing for production, in collaboration with the Product Office and the Tailoring Department, ensuring adaptation of models to different fabrics and constructions and resolving any technical issues that may arise. - Provide technical support to the Tailoring Department during the realization of garments. - Resolve any technical issues related to model realization. - Ensure wearability, correspondence of the garment to customer requests, and innovative input to products, respecting delivery times. - Participate in fitting sessions for finishing garments at various stages. Main requirements: - Diploma in Model Making or equivalent title - Previous experience of several years in a similar role, preferably in the Luxury Fashion sector - Languages: English, French (preferable) - Knowledge of materials and production processes - Attention to detail and orientation towards quality - Good communication and relational skills - Outstanding organizational skills Work location: Bulciago (Lecco) Sector: Other industries Role: Production
