Modelling and Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a Financial Modelling and Analysis Specialist to support the company’s growth through focusing on delivering complex financial models and analysis in support of our commercial work. The individual will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date project models for all of the assets in the Energy Operations portfolio. The individual will be responsible for reporting on the actual return vs forecast return and providing forecast updates on expected dividend flows based on operational performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial modelling techniques and tools, including Excel, Access, and SQL. They will also be able to communicate complex financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models for the Energy Operations portfolio; • Providing regular updates on actual return vs forecast return and expected dividend flows based on operational performance; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial models with business objectives; • Identifying and addressing gaps in financial modelling capabilities and processes. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, and at least 3 years of experience in financial analysis or modelling. They should be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and have knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools such as Oracle Hyperion Planning or Adaptive Insights.
