Model Based Design - Code Review
Job description
Do you want to start a new professional adventure as a Code Review & SW integration engineer in one of our opportunities in the Aerospace & Defence sector in La Spezia?
What will you do?
- You will analyze and review code generated from Simulink models, verifying its quality, consistency, and compliance with development standards.
- You will be responsible for integrating software code within real-time components and systems, ensuring their correct functioning.
- You will perform tests on host and target platforms, analyze the results, and support the resolution of any anomalies.
- You will contribute to code coverage and static code analysis activities, improving software reliability and maintainability.
- You will support the preparation and updating of technical documentation (requirements, test cases, execution reports, integration documentation).
- You will collaborate in software configuration management and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
✍️What do we require?
- 2-4 years of experience in Model Based Design and in reviewing code generated by Simulink.
- Good knowledge of C/C++ and coding standards for embedded software, including MISRA principles.
- Experience with real-time operating systems is welcome.
- Knowledge of techniques and tools for code coverage and static analysis, such as Lauterbach, LDRA, or QAC.
- Skills in software integration, testing, verification, and validation on host and target platforms.
- Familiarity with configuration management, requirements, and testing tools, such as Git, TortoiseSVN, IBM Engineering Workflow Management, IBM DOORS Next Generation, and Rational Quality Manager.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of UML, SysML, Rhapsody, and component-based design approaches.

The position includes a permanent contract.
Remuneration and Transparency
- Gross Annual Salary Range: EUR 26,000 – 50,000.
- CCNL del Commercio (National Collective Labour Agreement for Commerce).
- The salary range is defined according to objective and gender-neutral criteria.
