A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £55,000 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable) A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30am to 5pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays. As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills to our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they’re roadworthy and ready for action. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre checks, and brake pad replacements, as well as carrying out more complex repairs like engine overhauls and transmission replacements. Your expertise will also be called upon to diagnose and rectify faults in our vehicles, using your knowledge of vehicle systems and components to identify the root cause of the problem. You’ll work closely with other RAC technicians, engineers, and support staff to ensure that all vehicles are serviced and repaired to the highest standards, and that any issues or defects are identified and addressed promptly.
