Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division - a new era of mobile repair. A competitive base salary of £40,178, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000 A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be equipped with a state-of-the-art van, tools, and technology to provide an exceptional service at the customer's location. What you’ll do: Conduct a range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks at customer locations. Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and follow technical guides to identify and resolve vehicle issues. Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service. Maintain accurate records of all work carried out. Adhere to all health and safety regulations. What you’ll need: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably with mobile repair experience. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent customer service and communication skills. A full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. Ability to work flexible hours, including 1 in 4 Saturdays.
