Mobile Trailer Mechanic

Location: Vaudreuil region (various clients/sites)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday (4 days, 10 hours).

We are looking for a competent and motivated Heavy Trailer Mechanic to join our team in the Vaudreuil region. This position involves performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy trailers at our clients' or on the road as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on various types of heavy trailers.
• Detect and repair mechanical, electrical, braking, and structural problems.
• Respond to roadside service calls in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• E nsure that all repairs meet company standards and provincial regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and dispatchers regarding repairs and timelines.

• Certificate in heavy vehicle mechanics (or equivalent experience) — an asset.
• Demonstrated experience in repairing heavy trailers (brakes, suspensions, electricity, welding, etc.).
• Able to work independently and resolve problems on the job site.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
