We are looking for a Mobile Engineering Manager (Android & React Native) who will lead our mobile engineering team, drive innovation, and ensure seamless integration of Android and React Native technologies across Lokal’s suite of apps. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams, with expertise in both Android and React Native development. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, cloud-based services (AWS), and containerization (Docker) is a must. Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch would be an added advantage. As a Mobile Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: • Developing and implementing mobile engineering strategies to drive growth and innovation across Lokal’s suite of apps. • Leading and mentoring a team of engineers to deliver high-quality mobile applications that meet user needs. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Android and React Native technologies seamlessly. • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in mobile engineering, AI/ML, and cloud computing. • Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets for mobile engineering projects. • Ensuring compliance with Lokal’s technical standards, security protocols, and data privacy policies.
