Mobile Engineer

ROLE PURPOSE The Cross-Platform Mobile Developer at iiDENTIFii is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms, including native and cross-platform solutions. This role will work closely with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver innovative, user-friendly, and scalable mobile solutions. The developer will contribute to all stages of product development, from requirements gathering to deployment. Key responsibilities include: • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver innovative, user-friendly, and scalable mobile solutions. • Developing native and cross-platform mobile applications using various technologies such as Java, Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin. • Troubleshooting and debugging issues in mobile applications. • Ensuring the highest level of quality, reliability, and performance for all mobile applications. • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development. • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration with backend systems and APIs. • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have: • Strong understanding of mobile application development principles, patterns, and best practices. • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin. • Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin. • Knowledge of native Android and iOS development using Java, Swift, or Kotlin. • Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data formats. • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
