About the Role

Our client is seeking a Mid–Junior Mobile Engineer with an iOS-first background and exposure to Android development. This hands-on role is ideal for someone eager to build and maintain high-quality consumer-facing applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Kotlin, while supporting app deployments, API integrations, and real-time mobile features in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile App Development: Contribute to building and maintaining direct-to-consumer (D2C) iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI; support Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose or demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Dependency Management: Assist with integrating dependencies using Swift Package Manager (SPM) for iOS and Gradle for Android.
• App Deployment Support: Learn and support the process of App Store and Google Play deployment, including TestFlight/Play Console distributions and troubleshooting submission issues.
• UI/UX Implementation: Build clean, responsive, mobile-first UIs in collaboration with design leads. Suggest improvements with a user-first mindset.
• Messaging & Notifications: Help implement real-time messaging and push notification features using Firebase, WebSocket, or similar technologies.
• API & Authentication: Integrate REST APIs and contribute to secure authentication flows (OAuth, JWT, biometrics).
• AI-Driven Productivity: Use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to assist in coding, debugging, and prototyping.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional experience in mobile app development, with a focus on iOS.
• Solid understanding of Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS development practices.
• Familiarity with Android development (Kotlin/Java) or strong interest in learning.
• Experience contributing to at least one production iOS or Android app (App Store/Play Store links preferred).
• Basic experience with Swift Package Manager (SPM), dependency management, and app deployment processes.
• Awareness of RESTful API integration and mobile authentication best practices.
• Strong interest in UI/UX design and ability to implement pixel-perfect interfaces.

Benefits

• Working hours: 9 AM – 5 PM PST.
• 2 weeks of PTO, aligned with U.S. holidays.
• Salary: $4,000 USD/month.
