Younger Specialist in Operational Data and Analysis

Job offer description

Scope of responsibilities:

• Entering data from invoices into the system/spreadsheets;
• Verifying the accuracy of amounts, dates, volumes, rates;
• Contacting the client in cases of: missing invoices, unclear or incomplete data;
• Searching for and reporting anomalies: sudden cost jumps, duplicates, discrepancies between invoices and system data;
• Creating simple control sets;
• Searching for from internal databases, from general sources;
• Gathering and organizing data;
• Cleaning removing errors, standardizing formats, filling in gaps;
• Preliminary preparation of data for: analysis, reports, models;
• Creating simple sets and charts.

Our requirements:

• Degree or studies in progress; preferred fields: economics, finance, data analytics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, management;
• Very good knowledge of Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables);
• Fundamental knowledge of databases or SQL, principles of working with data (validation, consistency, completeness);
• Able to perform precise and repetitive work with a large number of data;
• Developed ability for logical thinking and detecting inconsistencies;
• Communicativeness and openness to contact with the client in formal matters (e.g. missing invoice, incorrect data);
• Very good organization of one's own work.

Prioritized:

• Fundamental knowledge of Python/R/Power BI/Tableau;
• Experience working with invoices, cost data, settlements;
• Experience in analytical or BI projects;
• Interest in data analysis, energy market, finance, or consulting.
