Job description
We are COTINGA – and we're redefining property management: digitally, efficiently, and connected. We think property management not just anew – we build it technologically, structurally, and culturally from the ground up with a process-oriented, AI-supported platform and a dynamically growing network. With over 25,000 residential and commercial units already managed nationwide, we're on our way to becoming the leading property management platform in Europe by the end of the decade. COTINGA combines the energy of a startup with the stability of a mid-sized family-owned business.
Tasks
- You will take over the independent technical administration of a defined portfolio and be the central point of contact for all technical matters – from planning and tendering maintenance measures to coordinating handymen, professional damage assessment, and insurance coordination.
- In close cooperation with our WEG and rental property managers as well as accounting, you will ensure smooth technical operations, promote transparent information exchange, and work together on economic solutions for all technical requirements.
- You are responsible for planning, budgeting, and controlling maintenance, renovation, and modernization measures, as well as cost control in the technical area.
- You will regularly inspect properties to assess their condition, identify defects early on, and ensure that necessary measures are documented systematically and implemented economically.
- You will ensure that all statutory requirements are met – from traffic safety obligations to operator duties and technical inspections to complete documentation of all maintenance and repair measures in our digital systems.
Qualification
- You have a completed technical or commercial education or equivalent qualification, ideally with experience in the property management industry.
- Prior knowledge of technical property management, facility management, or property management is assumed.
- You demonstrate fundamental technical understanding of building technology (heating, sanitation, electricity, ventilation, fire protection) and keep track of complex technical projects.
- Communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with owners, tenants, handymen, service providers, and authorities are crucial for this role.
- You excel at independent work, economic thinking, and a proactive approach to technical tasks.
- Your service-oriented attitude, hands-on mentality, and willingness to take operational responsibility are palpable.
- You master the German language in writing and speaking and possess a Class B driver's license for regular property visits.
Benefits
- A challenging and varied position in a dynamic environment
- A motivated team that supports and fosters you
- Modern PropTech tools and digital processes that simplify your work
- An attractive remuneration package and clear development opportunities
Start with us part-time or full-time from 20 hours a week. We offer an ambitious and relaxed working atmosphere, attractive remuneration, and the freedom to be yourself. If you want to work in an environment that combines technical excellence with digital innovation, then we should get to know each other!
