Furthermore, you will support measurement and communication systems, for example for remote meter reading, as well as ripple control technology for street lighting.

You will independently carry out maintenance, repair and modification work on technical systems and datasets.

We Offer
Whether behind the scenes or in direct contact with people – in technology, IT, water supply or tourism and leisure activities in Norden/Norddeich: We do it together as Wirtschaftsbetriebe Norden. We support each other, exchange ideas in day-to-day business, chat about things beyond work and occasionally eat a fish roll together during lunch break. These benefits also do us good:
- We are not only one of the largest employers in Norden, but also 100% municipal: Remuneration according to TVöD and statutory pension provision are guaranteed.
- Due to our diverse business fields, our work is always out of the box: What should remain, what can go, how can it be improved, how do we solve it? With an environment for ideas, a lot of room for personal responsibility and many hands that get involved.
- We consider flexible working hours a fundamental component of modern working.
- With e-bike leasing and Hansefit, it always feels like a tailwind on the dike.
- Those who come usually stay for a long time – yet we constantly create innovation: We strengthen our personal and professional competencies through seminars and further training.
- We can't do anything about this, but it's simply how it is here: Whether morning atmosphere, afternoon slump or evening red – toes in the sand or nose in the wind is always possible at this workplace.
