Job description
We are an innovative, medium-sized brewery with around 180 employees, combining tradition and modernity. For our EHSQ department, we are looking for reinforcement as soon as possible!
Responsibilities
- Ensuring and continuously developing our EHSQ standards and measures
- Monitoring compliance with legal and internal requirements in the areas of environment, health, occupational safety, and quality
- Conducting and documenting risk and hazard assessments, safety inspections, hygiene rounds, and internal and external audits
- Establishing, maintaining, and further developing the HACCP system to ensure food safety
- Supporting the introduction and further development of management systems (EMAS, IFS Food, ISO 45001)
- Planning and conducting training, instruction, and awareness measures for employees, interns, and temporary workers
- Processing and evaluating incidents, near misses, and quality deviations, as well as deriving and following up on appropriate corrective and preventive measures
- Support in traceability and crisis management
- Creating, maintaining, and evaluating EHSQ documentation, reports, and key figures
- Updating, maintaining, and creating technical documentation
- Preparing and accompanying authority inspections
- Contact person for external service providers, authorities, auditors, and certification bodies
- Close cooperation with production and other departments to promote a holistic safety, hygiene, and quality culture
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training or degree in EHS, occupational safety, quality management, food technology, environmental management, or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in EHSQ, quality management, occupational safety, food, or environmental management is an advantage
- Initial professional experience in the food industry is desirable
- Knowledge of HACCP and IFS Food, and ideally experience with EMAS
- Proficient in handling legal and regulatory requirements in the areas of occupational safety, environment, hygiene, and quality
- Experience in conducting hazard assessments, audits, and training is desirable
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Sense of responsibility and a high degree of quality and safety awareness
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with different departments
- Confident demeanor when dealing with authorities, auditors, and external service providers
- Good MS Office skills
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken
