Freelancer (m/w/d) sought: Document and analyze software applications - Part-time - flexible + remote

Job description

For an international AI research project with a leading AI laboratory, we are currently looking for freelancers who can document and analyze typical workflows in software applications.

In this project, you will help prepare modern AI systems for real-world scenarios by understanding complex software surfaces and real work processes. To do this, you will record and structure real usage scenarios of common programs.

Tasks

Depending on the project phase, you can take on tasks such as:

  • Taking screenshots of software applications, where you perform typical software tasks and explain them
  • Documenting workflows in programs like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
  • Marking UI elements and areas within software surfaces (e.g. buttons, menus, or functions)
  • Structured annotation of screenshots according to given guidelines
  • Using specialized tools to capture and document workflows

The created data will then be used to train AI systems to handle software and digital work processes.

Qualification

You should bring this:

  • Good practical experience with common office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Very meticulous and detail-oriented work style
  • Ability to follow clear instructions
  • Self-sufficient work and reliable adherence to deadlines
  • Access to a Mac computer with macOS
