Employee Payroll Support (m/w/d)

As an Employee in Payroll Support (m/w/d), you support our customers and trade partners in using our payroll software. You process technical and professional inquiries, find quick solutions in 1st-Level-Support, and support with more complex questions in 2nd-Level-Support. Furthermore, you analyze error patterns, document support cases, and work closely with Product Management and Development to continuously improve the quality of our software.

Tasks

• You support our direct customers with professional and technical questions about our payroll software and process support inquiries through all channels (excluding tax consulting).
• You analyze customer requests, find suitable solutions, and accompany more complex professional and technical questions.
• You perform remote maintenance as needed and support in solving complex customer problems.
• You document all relevant work steps and status updates structured and comprehensible in the ticket system.
• Support for our customers regarding installation, setup, and application of the software
• Closely working with Development and Product Management to resolve software errors
• Maintenance of knowledge database as well as creation of FAQ and help documentation
• Participation in continuous improvement of support processes and service quality

Qualification

• Completed commercial or technical training or equivalent qualification
• Fundamental professional experience in customer service, application, or software support
• Experience with payroll software or knowledge of payroll accounting is advantageous
• Safe handling of ticket systems and CRM applications
• Basic knowledge of commercial processes as well as understanding of ERP systems
• Outstanding service and customer orientation, as well as a structured work approach
• Good communication skills and joy in solving problems
• High willingness to learn for payroll-related and technical topics
