Employee / Manager (m/f/d) Internal Quality Assurance (Report Review) – Full-time or Part-time

The Association of Saxon Housing Cooperatives e. V. (VSWG) is the statutory auditing association as well as the professional and interest association for Saxon housing cooperatives. The VSWG supports its member cooperatives in the areas of auditing, consulting, further training, and representation of interests.

With Accuracy for Certified Quality

As an employee / manager (m/f/d), you will take on an important role in the internal, assignment-related quality assurance of auditing. Accuracy, structure, and professional depth will characterize your daily work. Your activities will include, in particular, formal and substantive report review:

• You will review audit reports for numerical consistency, substantive plausibility, and linguistic correctness, taking into account internal quality standards and deadlines.

• You will ensure the formal and professional accuracy as well as the completeness of the reports.

• You will check tables and texts for calculation and orthographic correctness.

• You will identify indications of possible accounting errors and forward them accordingly.

• You will maintain report files, prepare them, and take care of the final formatting.

Furthermore, you will participate in the further development, implementation, and monitoring of the internal quality assurance system existing in accordance with § 55b WPO.

Professional Know-how Meets Meticulous Work

For report auditing and review, you bring a good understanding of numbers and correlations. A structured and precise way of working forms the basis for your activity.

• Experience in conducting financial statement audits

• In-depth knowledge of accounting

• Ideally, industry knowledge in the real estate sector

• Good understanding of financial accounting and tax contexts

• Structured, meticulous, and reliable way of working

• High degree of discretion and trustworthiness

• Proficient use of MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as common video conferencing tools
