Employee in IT-Security Team (m/w/d)

The ivl is the IT service provider for the city of Leverkusen and the energy supply Leverkusen, and central point of contact when it comes to the use of information technology within the company network of the city of Leverkusen. We understand ourselves as a full-service IT provider and have a very broad and innovative range of services with highly secure data centers, software areas, and customer-oriented support. Our approximately100 employees ensure that IT and digitalization are implemented every day for the public administration, energy supply, and many other public institutions and schools in Leverkusen.

Aufgaben

• IT-Sicherheit: Creation of security concepts and further development of the IT security architecture. Consulting our administrators and project leaders in IT projects. Monitoring CERT reports, analyzing security events, introducing incident response measures.
• Informationssicherheit: Support for our ISB in developing our ISMS and BCM. Creating guidelines. Conducting security assessments. Creating recovery plans. Developing and conducting emergency drills.

Qualifikation

• Ausbildung: Successfully completed studies in information security. Alternatively, a study or training in an IT field and professional experience in one of the above-mentioned areas.
• Fachkenntnisse: Experience in IT operations, and knowledge in the administration of systems and/or networks. Strong interest in modern IT in a data center and technical implementations of IT security. Knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard and BSI-Grundschutz. Experiences with creating guidelines and documentation in German language. Willingness to continue learning.
• Analytische Fähigkeiten: Good understanding of IT structures and complex processes. Awareness of identifying and assessing risks and appropriate measures.
• Teamarbeit und Lösungsorientierung: Independent work in a team. Solution-oriented themes and projects forward.
• Kommunikation: The ability to present work results to different addressees and communicate on an equal footing with other people.
