We are looking for an experienced developer to join our team at Happy Group.

The Happy Group is a mid-sized company with numerous products and services for the construction industry. This includes transport concrete and other building materials such as gravel, sand, and recycling products. With over 40 locations in Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and Saxony-Anhalt, we have been a reliable partner to the construction industry since 1990.

To strengthen our team at our administrative location in 21397 Volkstorf, we are looking for an Mitarbeiter Controlling (m/w/d) on a permanent full-time basis.

Aufgaben

What does a controller do at Happy?

Planung & Steuerung

You keep our numbers in mind and create the foundation for good decisions. This includes Soll-Ist-Vergleiche, the creation and maintenance of budget plans, as well as the preparation of result and deviation discussions.

Berichtswesen & Kennzahlen

You prepare monthly reports and evaluations for management, prepare business accounts, and provide important key figures that create transparency and make developments visible at an early stage.

Finanzbuchhaltung & Kostenrechnung

You actively work in financial accounting: from selected bookkeeping tasks to account reconciliation and account maintenance, as well as annual inventory taking. Additionally, you support monthly and annual closings according to HGB.

Prozessoptimierung & Datenqualität

You analyze existing processes, derive improvement measures, and ensure that our data is reliable and usable in the evaluation systems. You also develop report processes and tools further and bring automation potential into play.

Fachbereiche & Wirtschaftlichkeitsanalysen

You advise our departments with decision-relevant evaluations, develop key figure and control systems further, and participate in internal controls as well as process and guideline documentation. Your task field is supplemented by economic, investment, and profitability analyses, as well as special evaluations for various projects.

Qualifikation

You fit in with us if...

... you have a completed commercial training with professional experience or an abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre with a focus on Unternehmenssteuerung and Finanzen. Ideally, you already have experience in Unternehmenssteuerung and financial accounting.

You know about Kostenrechnung, Berichtswesen, Anlagebuchhaltung, as well as experience with Monats- und Jahresabschlüssen nach HGB. We also expect current expertise in the relevant areas.

You personally convince us with a structured and meticulous working style, analytical thinking, result-oriented approach, communication skills, team spirit, flexibility, and organizational skills.
