Accounting & Controlling Specialist (m/f/d)

To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for a dedicated, open-minded personality (m/f/d) for accounting – with the clear goal of developing step by step towards controlling and corporate reporting. Responsibilities

• Processing and booking of current business transactions, including checking, coding, and booking incoming and outgoing invoices
• Monitoring open items and supporting the dunning process, as well as reconciling accounts and clarifying discrepancies
• Processing and control of payment transactions
• Assisting with monthly and annual financial statements and maintaining accounting-relevant documents and master data
• Gradual assumption of controlling tasks (e.g., reporting to Amphenol corporate headquarters)
• Collaboration with internal contacts as well as tax advisors and other external partners

Qualifications

• Completed degree (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics) advantageous, or completed commercial apprenticeship with Abitur (university entrance qualification), ideally with a focus on accounting, finance, or controlling
• Initial practical experience in accounting or controlling is an advantage, but not a must – we also welcome motivated career starters
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as a passion for finding solutions
• High initiative, willingness to learn, and a hands-on mentality
• Confident use of MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills
• Good knowledge of German commercial and tax law, and experience with DATEV is an advantage
• Good English skills are advantageous for communication within the international Amphenol Corporation
• Careful, structured, and reliable work style, as well as a high sense of responsibility
• Team spirit, clear communication, and independent work
