Tasks

• You are responsible for preparing the monthly and annual closing statements of life insurance companies and smaller non-insurance companies in accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Code (HGB).
• In addition, you will take care of daily accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, account settlement, and ledger entries.
• You will contribute to preparing tax balances, tax reports, and tax declarations, as well as addressing tax-related questions.
• You will provide support in preparing the consolidated statement.

Qualification

• You hold a successful degree in economics, preferably with a focus on accounting or taxes, or an equivalent qualification such as a training as accountant:in, tax clerk:in, or tax consultant:in.
• Prior experience in applying SAP (especially FI and FS-CD) and MS Office (especially Excel) is preferred.
• You are enthusiastic about topics related to accounting and taxes.
• You are communicative and willing to take responsibility in the task areas.
