Mission Systems Integration Engineer (m/w/x)

We are looking for a Mission System Engineer (m/w/x) to support one of our customers in the aerospace and defense industry. Interested? We look forward to your application!

Tasks:

• Development and implementation of ISR systems, including EO/IR sensors, radar, data connections, and mission computers
• Design and optimization of air- and ground-based system architectures using modern technologies
• Conducting laboratory-, ground-, and flight tests to ensure system performance and compliance with specifications
• Ensuring compliance with aviation and regulatory standards throughout the entire development lifecycle
• Implementation and optimization of real-time data transmission between airborne platforms and ground stations
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of hardware- and software-related problems, both in the laboratory and in-flight

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent education or training
• Experience with aerospace systems, avionics, and software-controlled mission systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both in development and operational environments
• Readiness for practical work, from software error detection to hardware integration and flight testing
• Familiarity with system technology, aircraft certification, and avionics integration is an advantage
