Mission Systems Architect / Systems Engineer (m/w/x)

To strengthen our expert team at our customer from the measurement technology, we are looking for a Mission Systems Architect / Systems Engineer (m/w/x) in a permanent position at K-tronik. Tasks:
- Design and further development of system architectures for ISR and mission systems (EO/IR, Radar, data links, mission computers) - Definition and specification of system requirements (Requirements Engineering) on overall and subsystem levels - Ensuring seamless integration of heterogeneous systems (hardware, software, sensors, networks) on an architectural level - Creation of interface definitions and system designs for air- and ground-based segments - Analysis and optimization of end-to-end data flows (latency, reliability, interoperability) - Close cooperation with integration-, software-, and hardware-teams to implement the architecture - Support in verification & validation on a system level (concept- and design-reviews) - Ensuring compliance with aviation and regulatory standards in the system design
Qualifications:
- Studies in aerospace, electrical engineering, computer science, or comparable - Several years of experience in systems engineering of complex systems (ideally mission systems / avionics / defense) - Experience in: system architecture & system design, requirements engineering, interface definition (ICDs) - Understanding of ISR systems, sensors, and communication systems - Analytical, structured working style - Experience with norms / certification (e.g. DO-178, DO-254) an advantage - Fluent English and good German language skills
