Ministerial Advisor (Expression of Interest)

Ministerial Resourcing are seeking expressions of interest for the Ministerial Advisor role, across Ministerial Offices. This is an ongoing expression of interest. Applications will be reviewed as vacancies arise, both current and future, including fixed-term, roving, acting and events-based opportunities aligned with the Parliamentary term. As a Ministerial Advisor, you provide policy and strategic advice to the Minister, supporting the effective delivery of portfolio priorities. What you'll do: * Provide high-level policy and strategic advice to the Minister on key issues and initiatives; * Support the development of policy and program initiatives that align with the Minister's priorities; * Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups; * Analyse complex information and data to inform policy decisions; * Collaborate with other advisors and officials to develop and implement effective solutions; * Represent the Minister in meetings and forums as required; What you'll need: * A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. public administration, policy, law, business or a related discipline); * Significant experience in a policy or advisory role, preferably at a senior level; * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; * High-level understanding of government policies, processes and systems; What we offer: * A dynamic and supportive work environment; * Opportunities for professional development and growth; * Flexible working arrangements; * Access to a range of employee benefits; * The opportunity to make a real difference in the community.
