Mini Job: Doku-Autor:in / Research & Script (m/w/d) for YouTube sought!

I operate the YouTube channel TäglichTechnik, a workshop for tech stories. No tutorials, no show. We break down large tech themes and make the underlying mechanisms tangible. To turn these into documentaries that keep you watching until the very end, I'm looking for someone who researches and writes. Exactly YOU. 🙌

Tasks

• You research topics thoroughly and accurately, from the first source to the surprising detail.
• You write the script based on the research in the tone of the channel: short sentences with rhythm, concrete images instead of adjectives (assembled, disassembled, honestly looked at), human, like a friend who has read too much. No marketing speak, no clichés and no foreign words.
• You build tension instead of just telling a story. You construct the narrative and have modern storytelling in your blood.
• You think about how to visually represent what you're writing while you write. Take a look at the Starlink documentary to get a clear idea.
• I'll give you a topic, core question, and direction, and you'll turn it into a story.

Qualification

• You can write. Not just correctly, but with rhythm and feeling for storytelling.
• A good understanding of how YouTube works (Hook, Pacing, Watchtime).
• A good and developed understanding of tech.
• A desire to dive into complex topics and explain them simply.
• Self-initiated work and the willingness to come up with ideas proactively.
• Must: Learning readiness and clear communication.
• Plus point: You think visually or have already written for YouTube.
