Job description
Why A-LEVEL?
You want to be more than just a work student: you want to understand how recruiting really works, from the first approach to the hiring process?
We're looking for someone who will take on a central role in our recruiting process. Your focus will be on Active Sourcing and Recruiting Operations, which means identifying the right candidates, approaching them, and keeping our processes running smoothly behind the scenes.
This means you'll not only work operationally but also have direct influence on how successful our projects are.
We're a small, ambitious team in a startup environment, fast-paced, direct, and with high expectations for quality. If you're eager to take responsibility, structure your work, and dive into the world of headhunting, then you're exactly right here.
What we do: A-LEVEL
We are a recruiting partner for companies from the startup online marketing and e-commerce world. Our goal is to fill teams with strong talent and build sustainable hiring structures.
We work closely with founders, hiring managers, and candidates, and that's where you come in.
Tasks
- Call-Support: You accompany our intro- and skill-calls with candidates, actively listen, and take down the most important points.
- Feedback-Dokumentation: After the calls, you summarize conversation notes in a structured way and enter them into our ATS.
- Candidate-Kommunikation: You support with term coordination, follow-ups, and rejections.
- Pipeline-Pflege: You keep our candidate pipelines up-to-date and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Ad-hoc-Support: Smaller research tasks, sourcing support, and everything that comes up in recruiting day-to-day business.
Qualification
- Experience in recruiting – for example, from a practical training, work student position, or HR role.
- You don't have to be an expert, but you know how a recruiting process works and how to speak with candidates.
- Safe handling of candidate conversations: actively listening, recognizing the right points, and taking them down neatly.
- Very good German in writing and speaking, good English.
- Structured, reliable work style – you document neatly and think ahead.
- Communication strength and finger-tip feeling when dealing with people.
- Availability of approximately 10 hours per week, ideally spread over 2-3 days.
Benefits
- Genuine insight into modern recruiting and headhunting.
- Insights into hyper-growth companies and their hiring processes firsthand.
- Flexible scheduling, full remote.
- Direct mentoring by experienced recruiters – steep learning curve guaranteed.
- Modern tools (ATS, KI-based sourcing tools, Fireflies & Co.).
