Job Title: Millwright Location: Pietermaritzburg Industry: Electrical Manufacturing Job Type: Full-time Job Description: RPO Recruitment's client are currently seeking a skilled Millwright to join their team in Pietermaritzburg at an electrical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and dismantling machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Responsibilities: Install new machinery and equipment according to manufacturer's instructions and company's standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment when breakdowns occur. Dismantle and remove old machinery and equipment to make way for new installations. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company's safety and quality standards. Requirements: 3-5 years' experience in a similar role. National Diploma in Millwright or equivalent qualification. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
