Millwork Estimator

You’ll be the person who turns architectural drawings into crystal-clear, profit-protecting estimates. When details are missing or specs don’t align, you don’t wait — you ask questions, clarify assumptions, and keep projects moving with confidence. What You’ll Do * Review architectural plans, specifications, and shop drawings to determine project requirements. * Prepare detailed estimates for millwork projects, including material costs, labor costs, and other expenses. * Solicit and evaluate vendor quotes. * Prepare and present estimates to clients. * Negotiate with vendors and clients to reach mutually agreeable terms. * Manage and track estimate revisions. * Maintain accurate records of all estimates and related documents. * Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products. What You’ll Bring * Proven experience as a millwork estimator. * Strong knowledge of millwork materials, construction methods, and industry standards. * Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and shop drawings. * Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, etc.). * Excellent math and analytical skills. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Detail-oriented and highly organized. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
