Milling Operator | Operator of Processes

We are currently recruiting for a milling operator position within a factory located in Montreal, on behalf of a recognized client in the agri-food sector.

We are looking for dynamic, reliable, and motivated candidates, ready to invest in a production environment that is constantly evolving. The job offers a great progression: the person can start as a miller, with the possibility of evolving into an operator of processes or department head.

A degree in food processing or chemistry constitutes an asset.

• Perform various maintenance tasks (cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming)

• Lubricate equipment

• Maintain bags and containers up to 25 kg

• Be able to progress to an operator of processes position within 90 days of hiring

• Perform other tasks as needed by the company

• Safe working attitude and respect for current standards

• Ability to work in a team and maintain a respectful and positive attitude

• Punctual execution of required tasks

• Basic knowledge of mathematics and computer science

• Proactivity and participation in food safety programs

• Learning and respect for rules and work policies

• Punctual production of required documentation

• Bulletin board punctuality and attendance

• Be able to lift bags weighing up to 25 kg repeatedly

• Be comfortable working seated or standing for long periods

• Be able to climb stairs and use ladders

• Be able to bend, kneel, or squat

• Work in hot, cold, or dusty environments

• Salary of $33.84/hour – permanent position in a renowned company in the agri-food sector
