With around 1,400 employees, Correctional Services and Resocialization (JuWe) is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures, as well as for carrying out various types of detention. Our employees from around 40 professions support and promote the reintegration of people who have committed offenses and are committed effectively and progressively to a safe and just society.

The Psychiatric-Psychological Service (PPD) is one of the eight main departments of JuWe. As one of the largest institutions for forensic psychotherapy and psychiatry in Switzerland, it specializes in relapse prevention treatment for violent and sexual offenders in detention and in freedom. The treatment offerings range from court-ordered measures to therapies for basic psychiatric care.

To strengthen our dedicated treatment team in the area of Inpatient Adult Forensics (StEF), we are looking for a motivated environmental therapy specialist for the Forensic-Psychiatric Department (FPA). The position is limited to one year.

• Work as a primary contact person with treatment planning and support for a prosocial and treatment-promoting environment
• Development and implementation of case-specific environmental therapeutic treatment measures, taking into account the psychological and physical resources of the individuals undergoing measures
• Participation in ensuring and further developing reliable correctional-organizational and safety-relevant processes in the FPA (ensuring hygiene, catering, laundry changes, sick notifications, and mail)
• Planning, execution, and evaluation of accompanied therapeutic outings and leave with the individuals undergoing measures

• Completed training as a certified nurse HF, preferably with a focus on psychiatry
• Ideally, experience in correctional services, particularly in the areas of care and work and employment
• Mature, resilient, and conflict-capable personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent team and communication skills, as well as enjoyment of trusting and constructive collaboration
• You are open to an interdisciplinary way of working and willing to continuously learn
• An impeccable record (no entries in criminal or debt enforcement records)
