Midlevel Full Stack Developer - Ruby on Rails & React (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Mid-Level) - Ruby on Rails & React for our Apps Team. With us, you will work on existing Shopify apps, develop new features, and launch new apps together with the team - with enough room for you to develop professionally and take on responsibility.

Your Mission

Further Development & Maintenance

• You will further develop our existing Shopify apps and ensure that they remain stable, performant, and easy to maintain

• You will fix bugs, improve existing features, and assist with technical "cleanup" (refactoring, code quality)

Technical Conception of New Features

• Together with the team, you will technically design new features: pragmatic, clean, scalable

• You will assist in breaking down into meaningful tasks/epics, keeping effort and risks in mind

New Development & Collaboration with Product

• In addition to developing our partner apps, you will also develop new Shopify apps - from the idea through implementation to launch

• You will work closely with our Product Team: They define the What, you shape (together with the team) the How

Our Must-Haves

• At least 2 years of full-time experience as a developer in a full-stack environment

• At least 2 years of practical experience with Ruby on Rails and React

• Proficient in Git

• Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL

• You write automated tests (ideally RSpec) and are keen to consider quality

• You work in a structured manner, communicate proactively, and reliably bring topics to completion

• Very good German (at least B2)
  

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Shopify app development

• Experience with GraphQL APIs
