Middleware Platform Engineer

Job description

I am hiring for Middleware Platform Engineer for my client in Arnhem / Hybrid in Netherlands. This is initially a contract with possible extension. Candidates need to be based in Netherlands. Hybrid Min 2 x week at the office (Tuesday and Thursday fixed office days) Your main responsibilities: You'll join a multidisciplinary DevOps team responsible for managing and further developing various middleware platforms. The team consists of experienced engineers with a passion for integration, platforms, and automation. Your tasks will include: • Design, implement, and maintain middleware platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. • Collaborate with the development team to integrate middleware platforms with other systems. • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline middleware platform management. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware platform performance, scalability, and reliability. • Participate in the design and implementation of new middleware platforms and features. • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures. • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in middleware platforms and DevOps. • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support. • Your secondary responsibilities: • Support the development team in resolving middleware-related issues. • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of middleware platforms. • Participate in the design and implementation of new features and platforms. • Ensure that all work is done in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Your qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience in middleware platform engineering or a related field. • Strong understanding of middleware platforms, integration, and automation. • Experience with DevOps tools and practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. • Your benefits: • Competitive salary. • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects. • Collaborative and dynamic work environment. • Flexible working hours. • 25 days of annual leave. • 8% holiday pay. •
