Mid level Electrical Designer

• Work with project teams to develop electrical system designs
• Develop project specifications and requirements for electrical systems
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure specifications are met and materials are delivered on time
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical system issues during the construction phase
• Ensure all designs comply with company and industry standards and regulations
• Ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
• Participate in design reviews and meetings with clients and other stakeholders
• Develop schedules, work assignments, and staffing requirements to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience focused on electrical drawings is a must.
• Knowledge of electrical industry standards and regulations
• Experience with SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant Visual Lightning, Dialux, Sizer Cable Calculation.
• Develops 3D models utilizing drawings, sketches, and design skills. Checks and navigates in the 3D models for interferences and constructability.
• Model electrical components using vendor submittals and electrical designs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
