Mid-Level Accountant - SAIPA Registered

Our client is a well-established accounting firm based in Paarl seeking a meticulous and technically skilled Mid-Level Accountant – SAIPA Registered to join their team. This role is dedicated to the compilation of annual financial statements for a range of clients and entities. The ideal candidate will have completed SAIPA articles and possess a thorough understanding of accounting standards, particularly IFRS for SMEs. This is a technically focused role with an emphasis on accuracy, compliance and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements, as well as performing other accounting and financial tasks as required. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines, and will be expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
