Overall responsibility for the strategic coordination of the Microsoft E7 security landscapeDefine and maintain the Microsoft E7 cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and target architectureEstablish and maintain governance, KPI, and reporting frameworksEnsure transparency regarding E7 capabilities, licensing, ownership, risks, dependencies, and maturity levelsDrive prioritization and adoption of Microsoft security solutions such as Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra, and Security CopilotCoordinate all involved teams, stakeholders, partners, and business units without operational implementation responsibilityAlign security initiatives with business objectives, compliance requirements, and risk management goalsAssess security coverage, residual risks, and AI-related security risksManage collaboration with Microsoft and implementation partners, including escalation managementProvide management with recommendations on investments, priorities, optimization opportunities, and strategic decisions Extensive experience managing complex cybersecurity programs in large enterprise environmentsDeep expertise in Microsoft security technologies, particularly Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra, Security Copilot, and related services / Strong understanding of Microsoft security architecture, licensing models, service dependencies, and support structuresExperience in Identity Security, Data Protection, Security Operations, Cloud Security, Compliance, and AI SecurityProven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives involving Cybersecurity, IT, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, Vendor Management, and business stakeholdersExperience designing cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, governance frameworks, and operating modelsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior executives and external partnersAbility to translate technical topics into business-focused recommendations and management decision papersKnowledge of risk management, compliance requirements, cybersecurity governance, and audit/assurance processesStrong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skillsExperience working directly with Microsoft and strategic implementation partners Support throughout the entire application process IT is and always has been our core business that laid the foundation for Hays' success.
