Job description
Job Title: Microsoft Administrator Location: Coventry/Birmingham, UK (Hybrid) Duration: 6-month contract role under Inside IR35 Work Module: 3 days onsite/week Job description: Key Responsibilities: • Microsoft Power Platform Administration: o Deploy, configure, and manage policies for Microsoft Power Platform applications (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). o Provide ongoing support and maintenance, ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of Power Platform environments. o Monitor and troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems. o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize requirements, and develop solutions to meet those needs. • Microsoft 365 Administration: o Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. o Configure and manage Microsoft 365 services, such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. o Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of Microsoft 365 environments. • IT Service Management: o Provide IT service management support, including incident, problem, and change management. o Ensure compliance with IT service management processes and procedures. • Communication: o Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and end-users. o Provide regular status updates, and ensure that stakeholders are informed of project progress and any issues that may arise. • Collaboration: o Collaborate with IT teams, business leaders, and end-users to identify and prioritize requirements, and develop solutions to meet those needs. o Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project goals and objectives. • Microsoft Certification: o Hold a valid Microsoft certification in Microsoft 365 Administration or a related field. o Demonstrate a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and services. • Education: o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. o Relevant work experience in IT administration, preferably with Microsoft technologies. • Skills: o Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and services. o Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. o Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. o Familiarity with IT service management processes and procedures. o Excellent communication and collaboration skills. o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Benefits: o Opportunity to work on a 6-month contract role under Inside IR35. o Hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days onsite/week. o Collaborative and dynamic work environment. o Professional development opportunities. o Competitive salary and benefits package.
