Method Analyst – Car Rental & Smash Repair

Our growing Car Rental and Smash Repair business is seeking a detail-oriented Method Analyst to improve workflow efficiency, strengthen operational performance, and support safe, high-quality repair and rental processes.

Position Overview

In this role, you will analyse and optimise end-to-end operations across both the rental front desk and workshop floor. You will identify inefficiencies, streamline booking and vehicle movement processes, improve repair scheduling and parts usage, and enhance communication between teams. Your insights will help reduce turnaround times, improve fleet availability, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse rental and repair workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Review booking, vehicle intake/return, damage assessment, repair scheduling, and documentation processes.
• Conduct work studies and evaluate data such as repair times, fleet utilisation, and labour hours.
• Recommend workflow improvements, automation tools, and digital solutions.
• Update and develop SOPs, manuals, and staff training materials.
• Monitor compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and insurance requirements.
• Ensure accurate vehicle inspections, documentation handling, and quality control across both divisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with minimum 1 year of experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with workshop/fleet management software preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to train and influence staff at all levels.
• Knowledge of car rental operations, smash repair processes, OEM repair guidelines, and safety standards.
