Tasks
Create fascinating things: Your tasks
- Development, implementation, and continuous optimization of measurement strategies for complex steel structures (e.g., vehicles, structural elements) as well as assemblies in the production process
- Use and programming of modern, automated measuring systems (tactile and optical, mobile and stationary)
- Analysis of deviations using root-cause methods and derivation of suitable countermeasures
- Training and instruction of metrology technicians and ensuring the correct implementation of measurement strategies
- Interpretation and evaluation of measurement results in comparison with drawing and customer specifications
- Presentation of measurement results to internal and external clients and support for quality management
- Support for certification processes by providing technical expertise and relevant documentation
- Planning, introduction, and maintenance of maintenance concepts to ensure the availability of metrology equipment
Profile
Contribute strengths: Your qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship or degree in metrology, e.g., as a metrology technician, metrology engineer (for industrial applications), programmer, or a comparable qualification with corresponding advanced training
- Several years of professional experience (approx. 5-10 years) in operating, programming, and optimizing modern and automated measuring machines
- In-depth experience in the development, implementation, and continuous optimization of measurement concepts
- Experience in the technical leadership, training, and qualification of employees in the field of metrology
- Practical know-how in production, measurement, and tolerance concepts, ideally in the mechanical engineering environment with medium to large components and production volumes of approx. 100-500 units per year
- Very good programming skills for coordinate measuring machines (e.g., Zeiss, Hexagon, or comparable systems)
- Proficient use of software tools in the areas of analysis, evaluation, communication, presentation, and documentation
- Good German language skills (min. B2) and English language skills (min. B1)
