MES Support Engineer (m/w/d)

Ability to support the provision of Tesla's manufacturing software systems by solving daily problems. Understanding and improvement of the end-to-end workflows from factory software applications like Manufacturing Execution Systems and Material Flow Management, as well as their integrated systems. Quick troubleshooting of technical problems including documentation of root cause and solution. Development of software applications/tools for short-term problem-solving if no permanent solution is possible in existing systems. Creation of troubleshooting guides to support team members and users. Close cooperation with software developers to understand user problems and long-term developments, proposing and implementing solutions for recurring problems. Building of automation and monitoring systems to optimize the use of factory software. Processing of change requests in business processes including coordination with cross-functional teams. High flexibility and quick reaction to changing business requirements. Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field or comparable experience with outstanding skills. Basic knowledge of working with databases and SQL. Experience with Python, Go, or other programming languages. Ability to understand integrated systems and their dependencies. Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, proactive, and engaged. Ability to recognize automation potential and develop corresponding solutions. Experience in a performance-oriented, fast-reacting, and collaborative team environment – competent but down-to-earth with hands-on mentality. Experience in application support or comparable roles. Knowledge of queues and stream processing is an advantage. Willingness to work shifts to ensure 24/7 operations (including late-night, weekend, and evening shifts).
