MES Engineer

Job Title: MES Aspentech Engineer for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Key Responsibilities: * Support the deployment, configuration, and optimization of AspenTech MES in pharmaceutical manufacturing settings. * Collaborate with clients to translate operational needs and regulatory requirements into AspenTech MES solutions. * Design, configure, and test Aspen MES components to align with GxP compliance and manufacturing workflows. * Provide input on system architecture, batch execution models, and integration strategies. * Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of MES-related issues, ensuring system availability and data integrity. * Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, configuration documents, and test protocols. * Conduct training sessions for end-users on MES functionalities and best practices. * Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in MES technologies, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. * Proven experience (3+ years) with AspenTech MES software, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. * Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including batch processing and regulatory requirements (GxP, FDA, EMA). * Hands-on experience with MES configuration, customization, and implementation. * Familiarity with integration of MES with other systems such as ERP, LIMS, and automation systems. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. * Knowledge of SQL and database management. * Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus.
