Mergers & Acquisitions Professional (w/m/d)

Aufgaben

• Identification and analysis of potential acquisition targets including market-, competition- and company analyses
• Preparation and development of financial models (e.g. DCF, LBO, scenario analyses) as well as company valuations
• Development of in-depth investment cases, decision-making templates, and management presentations
• Active support and guidance of due diligence processes (financial, commercial, legal, tax)
• Coordination and collaboration with external advisors such as investment banks, auditors, and lawyers
• Participation in structuring transactions and supporting contract negotiations
• Ongoing market observation and identification of new investment and carve-out opportunities

Qualifikation

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in business administration, finance, economics or a comparable field
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, transaction services or investment banking
• Fundamental knowledge of company valuation, financial analysis and financial modeling
• Outstanding analytical skills as well as high numerical affinity
• Solid experience in due diligence processes and basic understanding of transaction structures
• Very secure handling of Excel and PowerPoint, experience with virtual data rooms a plus
• Clear communication and presentation skills on management level
• High self-motivation, structured work approach and secure handling of time pressure
• Fluent German and English language skills
